Print Direction Drives Faster Turnaround Times with Inca Onset S20

Fujifilm North America Corporation, Graphic Systems Division has announced that Print Direction, Inc. (PDI) of Norcross, GA has set up an Inca Onset S20 UV flatbed mass media to increase capacity and respond faster to customer demands for large quality point-of-purchase (POP) display graphics. PDI was established while in the early 80s as being a complete service supplier of print alternatives and fulfillment which produces POP materials for retail, manufacturing and quick-serve eaterie businesses using offset, in-line screen, and wide-format digital printing.

"It's just been a few several weeks since installation of the Onset S20, and we're already moving jobs from our screen presses to the S20," said payment Blair, vice president, Sales and Marketing for Print Direction, Inc. "The Onset allows us to turn medium-sized jobs quicker, and much more efficiently. It also gives us the competitive advantages to be successful more business."

"Our strategy would be to mature the display graphics enterprise by using the Inca Onset S20 to fulfill orders faster than with screen or offset printing – just about on demand," commented Blair. Blair then said, "We've even joked internally how the S20 is 'so fast' that we'll need to install a 'drive-up window' to offer much more customers."

The Onset 20's full-bed print array throughout the 5x10-foot print king size bed produces high-quality images at over 3,600 sqft or 68 bedrooms per hour without any banding commonly linked to wide-format digital printers. The S20 is available inside a choice of configurations ranging from CMYK, to six-color with gentle Cyan and gentle Magenta, or even four-color as well as White. A curing system, coupled with the full-bed array on the S20 also gives printers the versatility to set the required highly polished level on any provided print straight from the operator console.

"In the Atlanta area, orange and red-colored are essential colors for our national brand name customers, as effectively as the S20 hits these challenging colors extremely well," said Blair.

PDI cites two factors while in the decision to purchase an Onset S20 compared to other available equipment: advanced print quality and excellent service. "We looked with the alternatives as we looked for the right suit for our business," said payment Stanton, president and CEO, Print Direction, Inc. "The Inca Onset S20 from Fujifilm was our choice since the print quality was superb, as effectively as the service document is excellent. eventually we believe how the S20 gives us the best competitive placement to be successful more business; it is simply the best suit for us."

"We're confident how the Inca Onset S20 will provide PDI with the ability they need," said Mitch Bode, vice president, Wide Format and Specialty Ink Systems, Fujifilm Graphic Systems Division.
